1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2 289 Automatic.Up for auction is a very nice 1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2. This car came originally with a "T" code 200 cubic inch 1 barrel engine which has been replaced with a rebuilt 289 4V. The engine runs very good and is mostly stock with RV camshaft, aluminum intake & 4V carburetor. The car has had both rear quarters replaced along with the rear frame rails and driver side floor pan. The passenger front floor pan has a small hole. The front frame rails, fender aprons, shock towers are all in excellent shape. The black standard interior is in nice condition with a fold down rear seat and vintage sound AM/FM radio. The headliner has a small sag in the rear portion and the rear seat bottom has a small seam tear. The glass is the original and in good condition with only a small stone chip in the windshield. The chrome and all the trim is in excellent shape. This Mustang still retains it's original 4 lug suspension. A new complete five lug front suspension (spindles, calipers, rotors, springs, hoses and bearings etc) and two center consoles are included with the sale. This car runs & drives well and is ready for easy transport, I am also available to help load on my end. The car has its VIN tag on the fender apron and I do have a clean Michigan title.
