I have a 1969 Pontiac Bonneville 2 Dr Hardtop Sport Coupe Project Car that I am selling . I bought this in Chicago area a few years ago, and just don't have the time to finish this. Body work is partially done and needs finished. Interior was redone along the way. Car runs and drives with lots of power from the 428 V4 engine and TH 400 tranny , but needs brake lines, wheel brake cylinders, steering gearbox seals ....fluid runs out, bodywork finished. I believe this is the lesser of the 3 engines offered in 1969 for the 428. YH code I think, and the lesser with the 360 HP. I believe the odometer could have been turned over, but not sure on the 42,655 miles. I bought this as a project off a guy whom had it as a project and 2-3 guys more before possibly. I know that this engine and tranny runs and shifts well, engine sounds good....No clanking valves or knocking, very driveable.....just needs finished. Has legal plates and insurance on it now and in the barn here, you are welcome to come test drive it. I had my buddy put this on the lift after I bought this car to find that it is pretty rusted on bottom under driver and passenger seats area. The frame has heavy rust in this area and may require a frame off restoration, possibly a frame repair or replacement. Frame is ok and not broken now, but eventually without fixing the rust this problem will worsen. I have been offered 1500 just for the engine and tranny alone, but decided to try selling entire car on ebay. You can buy this entire car for a restoration for yourself, or to use for parts for you bonneville, or buy it for the Powerful 428 to put in your classic firebird, Lemans, GTO or whatever.
