The bike is just out of long term storage and still has its original bill of sale from Curly’s Honda, Yokota Air Base, Gate Number 1, Tokyo. The bike also comes with a California “application for registration of non-resident vehicle,” which was never filled out. From the paperwork here, the bike was never registered for road use. The bike currently has no fluids and it seems it was stored that way for a long time- the tank and oil fill are both extremely clean and look basically brand new- like they haven't been wet for a very long time. There are interesting original details everywhere, many of which I've never seen before, even on other sub-500-original-mile, early 70s CBs I've sold: a small sticker on the left side of the swingarm in Japanese, 4 original keys, the original plastic cover on the clutch lever, the original Yokohama tires, original stickers on the rear shocks, an original sticker on the steering damper. According to the previous owner, the bike was stored in a temperature controlled environment since 1970. The bike is in excellent condition, but does show its age in some places, most notably the front of seat. Please see photos.
