For sale is a beautiful 1982 Corvette. I bought this car from the second owner in 2008. The previous owner had kept it stored in an airplane hanger for 18 years and only drove it occasionally. This car has less than 55k miles and is 95% original to the day it rolled off of the line. Here is what has been changed since it left the showroom floor: 1. New tires. I put these on at 43K miles. 2. New front/rear wheel bearings, axle seals and differential seals. 3. New stainless steel brake calipers on all four wheels. 4. New battery 5. New console. The original was scratched and I ordered replacement. I have the original. 6. Floor mats. I have the originals 7. New spark plugs/wires/distributor cap. The radio is not original and does not work. I bought the car with it that way and have not replaced it yet. The air conditioning does not work. The compressor turns, but I have not pursued any repairs on the system. Oxygen sensor needs replaced. Car runs great but diagnostics shows O2 sensor bad. The interior is in really good shape--no tears in the upholstery or carpet. All gauges work, even the clock! The exterior is in fantastic shape with a few minor rock-dings where you would expect in a 33 year old car. The paint is original and you can see your reflection in it. From 20 feet away, the car looks perfect. The T-Tops do not leak and the original storage bags are intact. Rear window defrost works, power windows and locks work. Included is all paperwork and documentation of every part and service completed on the car. Also included is the GM shop manual, Haynes manual, original sales brochure, and owner manual. Starts great, runs great, looks great, and is a truly nice piece of Americana and one of its classic sports cars.
