I HAVE A 1972 PONTIAC LEMANS WITH A 454 THAT HAS LESS THAN 5000 MILES.IT WAS BUILT ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO AND DRIVEN ONLY TO CAR SHOWS OR TO THE LOCAL STORE,he had over 10,000 in engine.very very fast and VERY RELIABLE. the engine sounds great and no problems at all.it has a 850 holley,rollers,cam and mean this gentleman put it all in it.he passed away 2 weeks ago from a brain tumer and never would have sold the car ever!the transmission was acting up and we took it out of the car and the torque converter was no good so we took the transmission completely apart boiled out the core and bought everything new to rebuild it.he paid 6000.00 for the TCI transmission new but when the torque converter blows there are many little fragments that get in the components so we had to do a haul over.it does not have a crazy hard quick shift in it but if you hit the gas hard your head will jump back.he had it painted 28 years ago and it is the same paint job.it is starting to bubble on the lower right rear quarter by the bottom of passenger door but not the door.not bad for 28 years!there are no body panels that were ever replaced,doors and floors and trunk and splash pan and frame and engine compartment are very good.the interior was also done 28 years ago and is in very good shape except for one little spot in back seat the size of a pea.he has about 28,000 in the car and it is not a show car but not far away either.it has weld wheels with street strip on the rear.dual exhaust stainless.it does not leak a drop of anything.we took it to a car show last weekend and everyone was very impressed with the car.the only thing that does not work is the windshield wipers.hense never takin out in the rain.the car is really amazing in appearence and sound.it has the big 4 core radiator also in it.if the car would be parted out you could get more than what i think it will bring.it has a clean and clear title,i am starting at 7500.00 and we will see where that goes .if you want to make a offer you can but this is the starting price and she will keep it if it only does a little better than that.i will help assist in the transporting if you buy or win the bid and it is stored inside now and has insurance so if you need some time thats ok .once it is paid in full and check clears i will send the title.you can call me anytime at 920-850-1316.this truly is and old school car with the colors and everything is painted on the body no decals.thanks and good luck 920-850-1316 i may do part cc if need be,thanks again.there has been a lot of questions and the most popular is does it run adrive.yes the car runs and drives down the road very nice with no rattling or pulling .the car handles good,shifts properly runs PERFECT! drives nice and stops good,it has the sound of a big block but not too loud at all.i hope this answers more questions,all paperwork goes with the car
