1997 Jeep Wrangler S. It has 71K original miles. 2.5L 4cyl with 5 speed manual transmission. Full hard doors with soft top and tinted windows. Jeep is black with a tan interior. The body and interior are in excellent condition. It has newer 31x10.50/15 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO tires on 15x8 American Racing wheels. The spare tire is a factory tire. Has an aftermarket Boss CD player stereo with remote control and USB port. Has a sound bar with Kicker speakers. Pwr steering and pwr brakes. It does not have A/C. It does not have a center console. Everything works in the Jeep including the fan/heat controller. There is no check engine light on. This Jeep has low original miles. The doors, body and soft top are in great condition. The Jeep had the PCM recall update in 2013. It has a Curt trailer receiver hitch with a 4,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. The Jeep runs and drives great. It has had 6k miles put on it in the past 8 months without and issues. It has a clear title and clean Carfax report. The problem with this Jeep is the frame. Jeep Wrangler TJ models is the frame rusting out and this Jeep is a victim of it to. It is a shame because the Jeep is so nice and drives so good with low mileage. The frame has rust issues from the transfer case back to the rear. The frame has rust on both sides and the passenger side upper rear control arm bracket has broken off the rear axle. The frame rails also have spots where it has rotted through. The gas tank skid plate also has major rot. The transmission skid plate is in good condition. The Jeep needs to have major frame repair which is still possible but it really would benefit from a new frame and gas tank skid plate. The Jeep drives great as it is now but with the condition of the frame I would not chance driving it until it has been repaired. The Jeep was driven daily until the frame issues were finally noticed. It has a valid NJ inspection. There is also minor paint fade on the hood and cowl on the driver side. The rest of the paint is good and there are no dents in the body or nose. The Jeep is for sale locally and auction can be ended at any time. Vehicle is being sold with no warranty and with the understanding that it is not currently roadworthy in its current condition.
