It started with a rust free western body and we had it repainted in 2015 Jeep Rubicon Hydro Blue Metallic. It is a $8,000.00 paint job and is VERY nice. The paint is brand new and has only been on there about a month. It has not been on the road since paint. The interior is Raptor-Lined... comparable to Ryno or Lyn-x linings.. This jeep has a fuel injected AMC 304 C.I. V8 engine. Mated to a 4 speed (with granny gear) manual transmission. It has a Dana 300 Transfer case, Dana 44 front and rear axles. The axles have 4.10:1 gear ratios and the rear axle has a locker in it. Very good driveline combo and the Jeep goes anywhere and runs great! The Jeep starts in the coldest of weather and has no mechanical issues that would keep me from driving it anywhere. I drove this jeep daily until I had it painted. Now that I have it back I love it, but my wife and I bought a retirement home and we have to sell this and a couple other things to help pay for it. The CJ has a 4” lift on it that was done professionally with 33x12.50 mud terrain tires on it. Tires have 95% tread left The CJ mechanically and cosmetically in good condition, it turns heads in and is very reliable. There are a few things that don’t work. The factory gauges in the das (the bid circle gauge) do not work. Everything else does. Factory Tachometer The wipers work, it steers and stops perfectly. 4x4 works and it will not disappoint off road… or on road.
