1984 BMW R100RS - 93,000 miles on clock. Body in great condition with only a few minor paint chips as expected with a 31 year-old motorcycle. Engine in excellent condition! A recent leak down test showed 5% in left cylinder and 7% in right cylinder. Just tuned up: gas filters & gas lines, air filter, valves adjusted, carbs rebuilt with Bing Agency International #6 kit. Engine, trans, and rear drive oils changed. Stainless steel brake lines with rotors replaced about 10,000 miles ago. New battery. New mirrors. New VDO Vision series voltmeter and oil temp gauge added. New Corbin leather seat. Original factory heated grips. New windshield. New progressive Hagon rear shocks and Progressive front springs. New tires front and rear. The wheels have been powder coated black and is the only deviation from stock besides the new high performance ignition wires and new VDO gauges. (I retained the old gauges, seat, and ignition wires). I have a passenger backrest as well, but it needs to be reupholstered. Hard BMW luggage (not shown in pictures) is included. Also, a tall Cee Baileys windshield goes with the bike as well. This classic bike runs mint and will be around appreciating for a long time to come.
