brucescollectibles49 Store 1930/31 Model A Ford, Two Door Sedan Project Car -Hot Rod For sale we have my husband’s project car. The only reason it is on the market is because of his massive heart attack. He is not able to complete the project. We are hoping someone else will be able to appreciate this work in progress and complete it. The car was going to be a full fender Rat Rod once he completed it. This is a 1930/31 Ford 2 Door Sedan. There is a 5” chop top. The frame is boxed and Z’d; 5” in the rear. The wiring was run thru the frame for the starter, battery, tail and head lights, and turn signals. The coil over’s in the rear adjust upwards on the frame lifting the rear end up to 5”, these are brand new parts. Front end is a bell 4” drop axle with four bar suspension these are brand new parts. It has brand new 1978 up chevy disc brakes. The engine is a 302 and was a strong running non-smoking engine when he installed it. (We don't know the mileage) The body is straight with small areas of rust on the rear fender wells as shown in the pictures and of course surface rust. The car also has some bullet holes on the left side also shown in pictures. Maybe they were chasing Bonnie and Clyde in this car at one time . The car still needs a steering column and box, brake lines and wiring; and of course your time and imagination. We have the metal roof cut and ready to be welded on if you choose to use a top. There are lots of car parts and pieces that we are giving to you, including Toyota low back bucket seats. Please check out the pictures to see what is included. This car has an awesome stance to it and will make a great rat rod project for you. Any questions please feel free to ask. You will need to pick the car up here in Mount Shasta, CA or make your own arrangements for pick up and delivery to your home. We will expect a deposit within 24 hours when auction ends. The balance must be paid off within 7 days after deposit is received, you can pay through Paypal, or send a cashiers check or money order.  We can store the car for only 30 days after auction ends. The car is registered to be blue tagged with California Hwy patrol. You will receive a bill of sale only, no title. On Jul-21-15 at 21:13:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Had a lot of emails and call about the blue tag. Here is an explanation of what it is.A blue tag is when the CHP (Calif. Hwy Patrol) comes to where you vehicle is and takes the number off the frame. This is recorded in their records. Once the vehicle is road worthy you get a one day pass to move the vehicle and make an appointment with the CHP and take the vehicle to them. They will then rivet a blue tag on the inside your door frame. (This is all free of charge) Then you make an appointment with the DMV, get a one day pass to bring the car to them and they will check the blue tag and issue you a new title using that number and plates for your vehicle; you will pay just the register the car in your name and the years taxes.
