44 PICTURES BELOW DESCRIPTIONAcapulco Blue 1968 Mustang Convertible with 289 V8 (2 barrel). Driver condition. Has been refurbished at some point recently. By no means a show car, but a beautiful driver. Power top, power steering. Automatic transmission I am a U.S. Naval officer. Bought it for flight school in Florida, but recently learned we won’t have a garage down there- so it’s time for a more modern ride. Have been enjoying it in the DC area all summer. CONDITION: Exterior: Paint is beautiful. Some scratches, nicks and chips due to age and road use- but the paint shines gorgeously. BRAND NEW WHITE LETTER TIRES with almost no miles on them. Body in great shape, no rust anywhere on body. Turn signals on hood working. GT fog lights installed and operational. Convertible top in good condition- watertight. Small repair spot on drivers side that is watertight. New rear convertible top window. All exterior lights work. 14” GT wheels. Trunk looks solid. Spare tire and toolkit included. Underbody: Frame rails have been repaired at some point. Have not had car on lift, but looks solid. Front torque boxes and rockers look solid as well. Suspension is likely original, but included are new 4.5 leaf rear springs and KYB shocks. Car drives well, and does not drift or pull to any side. BRAKE SHOES, LINES, AND WHEEL CYLINDERS ARE ALL NEW. Stops straight and well. Engine: Freshly painted 289 V8 engine- rebuilt by previous owner and believed to be matching numbers. C-4 transmission shifts very smoothly. New water pump.
