I have for sale: 1969 Mercury Marquis 2 Door Hardtop Coupe, Very desirable 2 Door Hardtop body style, 2 Owners, First Owner for over 40 years. Car has 99.5 k miles on odometer. Looks and feels like a low mileage car so it most likely is Original Miles but this is not verifiable. 429 V8 Motor with 2 Barrel Carburetor, engine is impressive and engine runs decently, it probably needs a lifter. The engine compartment is a 7-8 on a scale of 1- 10: Motor is all stock & impressive, very clean, no grease. Original blue Air cleaner with 429 graphics, intake & valve covers. Automatic transmission is excellent, shifts smoothly. Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Cruise Control all there and working. Car is very clean, body is excellent and straight, Original paint in decent condition, Hide away headlamps, no accident California car - so absolutely NO RUST, All glass and headlights and taillights are good and working. Unique full length rear tail lamp, perfect bumpers - straight and good chrome. All 4 Original hubcaps are present and in decent condition. Original Blue California Licence plates from new, it has a new battery & new tires, no CA smog required. Rim blow steering wheel. Nice clean interior, dashboard is excellent, carpets are there and decent as is, manual windows and pretty clean original black vinyl interior. The upholstery on the front seat has tears to bottom cushion, driver's side, it needs to be redone. Original Mercury AM radio. The car needs some light restoration work. Some surface rust on roof, which is very common for cars with vinyl roof - Vinyl needs replacing. Definitely 70's American Muscle Car Legacy and one of the last sleeper with plenty of horsepower under the hood to scare anybody.
