Vehicle Detail
1959 Chevy Biscayne 2 door sedan. Please call if any question or for more pictures, or ask questions before bidding 1-505-730-9713 Feliciano This was the least expensive model in 1959, impala being the most expensive model with more trim and more options. This is NOT a impala it's a Biscayne. I started to work on this car and was going to make it a patina rat rod driver, ran out of time and money so its up for saleInterior- The dash is in decent shape, the only thing missing is the ignition switch which will need to be replaced. The headliner was removed, has rods and mounting retainers. The seats are out of a 4 door car, they are in ok shape, the have a couple tears and are faded from the sun. I have the original bench seat frame ( missing upper drivers side frame) and rear seat frame, these are just the metal frames, I will include them with the car if you can transport them with the car. I don't have the door panels or top rails, I have one rear one and the both top rails. There is no carpet, the roof and dash have a small hole on top from a bullet that will need to be welded up. Trim- this car is not missing any trim pieces, all the chrome is in original shape, has some small dings on some trim, overall all the trim is in decent shape and restorable I will include extra trim pieces that I have with car. Brakes- All the brakes were no good on this car and all the brakes will need to be replaced, the emergency brake is not connected, there are no drums or hardware I have the original master cylinder for the car. All brake lines are existing Engine&trans- This car has NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION. The original engine the car came with was a 6 cylinder with a 3spd on the column. I have some v-8 frame engine mounts so that you can install a v-8 in it. The gas tank was removed so it can be cleaned but was never cleaned. The driveline I have for the car is for a automatic. There is no radiator. I have an automatic steering column that is green that I will include with the car. Rims and tires- It has a nice set of 15" cragar wheels they are 5 on 5 bolt pattern so adapters where used to mount them, the tires are used and just really hold air, will need to be replaced. Glass-All the glass is in decent shape, the windshield and rear window gaskets have been just replaced with NEW rubbers, the windshield is not cracked but has scratches from the windshield wipers, the door glass is missing and will need to be replaced, its missing the drivers side track that the window sits in. Everything else is all there, cranks and tracks are all there. All window work correctly. Body- The body on the car is in decent shape for its age. There is no bondo or body filler anywhere on the car. It has several areas where there are small rust holes. Both qtr panels have a few rust holes, the drivers side qtr panel has rust on the very bottom also the rocker panel on the drivers side does also. the trunk pan has a small area but not the whole pan, the floor is solid and looks like it was replaced before I purchased car. Around the gas pedal has a small rust hole. This car has small dents and dings on just about every panel. I think a good body guy could fix all of the damaged areas on the car. The body panels are all fixable and this car I believe is very restorable. Thank you for considering purchasing my vehicle. Below are our terms of sale to protect all parties.
