I have for sale: 1978 Mercedes 300CD 2 Door Diesel Sunroof Coupe, Neo-Classic, desirable 2 Dr body style, early Production car. Car is very clean, body is excellent and straight, no accident California car - so absolutely NO RUST, Exterior paint looks to be the Original paint color but it is actually an excellent recent respray, so it has a lot of luster. European headlamps, Electric sunroof - it works fine. Trunk lid might have gotten replaced at some time, it shows some fading or oxidation on it. Nice clean interior, dashboard is excellent, the upholstery on the front seats was redone recently. Recent SONY CD, AM/FM Stereo radio. This is a dependable car that gets excellent mileage, great for transportation, enjoy it while the value on these W123 coupes is only going up. As it is a Diesel it is a bit slow on takeoff, it does need some type of tune up work. Possibly a valve adjustment or injector cleaning, but it always starts up right away. One power back window sometimes does not work, could be the switch.No smog required, 2015 California Registration, clean title.
