1966 Honda S-90

Very Original S-90 with great patina; engine is quiet and smooth, clutch & transmission work fine. Rides well, even the speedometer works! Honda websites are inconclusive whether it's a 1965 or 1966 based on the VIN. (It has the offset carburetor and alloy cylinder--you decide) I do not have any old documentation or a title for it--will provide a Bill of Sale. Mileage is inaccurate as well. It only shows 1,200 miles, and odometer works, but that's not right--the rear tire has been replaced and shows wear--I would guess it's more like 5-6,000, based on how I wore them out nearly 50 years ago. I believe the front tire is original. I bought it for my collection years ago because I had such fond memories of one just like it when I was a kid. Now I'm scaling back and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. This week I installed a new battery, cleaned the carburetor & petcock and it started right up. Rode it around the neighborhood and everything worked fine--even the horn & lights. Original grey cables, still has the insert in the back of the muffler (muffler is not rusted out), engine screws are not buggered up, so you know it hasn't been into. Decent chrome & paint, but not perfect. Seat has a repair, but is pretty nice and still says Honda on the back; crack in headlight shell. Only thing missing is the little mudflap on rear fender. Correct low handlebars, plastic handgrips, original Honda key. If you want a restored one, this isn't it; if you prize originality, you'll love it.
