This is a one-owner bike that was purchased new from Brown Motor Works in 2004. The owner is an avid BMW rider who has owned many BMW motorcycles and puts in a lot of miles. This was his primary bike from 2004 until 2009, when he purchased a K1300GT and this bike became his back-up bike. He has decided that it’s time to let this bike go, so he has placed it on consignment with us to sell for him. This bike has a good service and maintenance history up through 2012. In May, 2012 at 123,455 miles a complete service was performed including a clutch fluid flush and I-ABS brake fluid flush. At that time the shocks were sent to Works Performance to be reconditioned. A new BMW battery was installed in April, 2014. Because the owner has been primarily riding his K1300GT, this bike was not given much attention over the previous 2 years. An inspection by our service department has determined that the rear tire, as well as the rear brake pads and rotor are worn and need to be replaced. The bike is due for service by both time and mileage.
