We specialize in 1967-1972 short bed C10 trucks, start with the best body’s and frames, and craft them into rolling pieces of artwork. This 1967 C10 California Born truck has received a mild nut and bolt, restoration. These areas include: Drivetrain – This truck's power plant is a Chevy Vortec 5.7L LS1 engine backed with a 4l60E automatic transmission w/ overdrive. Both have only 72,000 current miles on them. This is a beautiful truck that was built to drive and enjoy. If you are looking for a solid truck that looks amazing, and has the capability to jump in and drive anywhere at anytime, you have found the right truck. This is truly a smooth power, great braking, handling, and driving truck that can be enjoyed for years to come! Suspension / Frame / Brakes / Wheels – Truck has new McGaughys Rear drop springs. The front has drop spindles and springs that are newer with newer Shocks front and rear. The frame was mildly cleaned and painted Chassis Black front to rear. The frame has not been cut or damaged and is completely original and matches the vin tag on the body. The Gas tank has been relocated to rear with fill neck in bed side area. The wheels and tires are brand new with less than 10 miles on the them. New Boss 338 20x10 in rear & 20x8.5 in front that gives this truck an amazing staggered look and stance. The truck comes equipped with disc brake up front, and bigger drums in the rear with new components, and stops on a dime! Exterior – The bodywork of the truck was done by the previous owner and does have some very small dings, but they are nothing major. The truck was just repainted a custom blended GM period correct BASF Diamont "Crystal Green," basecoat, and sealed with three coats of high solids clearcoat by the previous owner. After the previous owner finished paint, we buffed the truck to produce a great shine. After receiving the truck from the previous owner, Rust SpeedShop cut and buffed the Tailgate, and painted / polished the new cowl hood. Additionally, Rust Speedshop also painted the inner wheel wells, radiator cover, engine cover and new rear wheel tubs). The trucks body and paint are a 7 on a scale of 1-10, shows well, and looks great. The truck has brand new front, side, and vent glass, with brand new weather stripping all around, sill plates as well as new chrome bumpers front and rear with all new brackets and hardware. All external parts are new (lights, bezels, grille, and hardware, etc.) The wood bed is all completely new with a beautiful pecan stain, and sealed with 5 coats of polyurethane with all new bolts through out the bed. The bed has been rhino lined on the sides of the inner bed then painted to match the exterior color of the truck for durability. The bed on the truck looks amazing. Interior – The interior is brand new starting with the bench seat, updated gauge cluster, newer steering wheel, and carpet which extends nicely behind the seat area as well. The truck also has a new painless wiring harness, that has been added to the ECM box for the LS1 motor. Tach gauge has been added to the left of the dash. The interior is all new, and is of show quality, as it has been completely painted with the metal door panels, front dash & under dash, roof, pillars, top of doors and seals to match the trucks exterior. Both windows roll up and down and work perfectly. All items work as they should, with the exception of the speedometer, (it will need a speedo cable hooked up), and the wiper motor does work, but is not hooked up. The truck is a factory A/C truck but is missing the condenser, and compressor. The new owner could easily add a vintage air kit if desired. Additionally if you would like to have Rust SpeedShop install a vintage air kit before the truck ships to you, please contact us prior to bidding, so we can discuss pricing. We are happy to accommadate your needs if A/C is needed. This is a 3rd owner truck with 111k actual original verifiable miles on the body, that can be driven and shown anywhere with pride and confidence. Truly a turnkey truck, that needs nothing except a proud new owner. This is a perfect driver / show and go truck to take to any car show, or cruise on the highway at over 85 MPH with confidence.
