Vehicle Detail

Mileage: 14449 Vin: 458899Gorgeous vintage SWB Porsche 912. Only driven a few hundred miles with temp plates since purchased 8 years ago. Approx $10k of work already done including: removing any rust, replacing axles, rebuilding carburetors, remanning front/rear calipers, new master cylinder. The body is in really good shape with no visible dents or dings. The seats are beautiful. Headliner probably needs to be replaced – there is a small tear and some discoloration, separation on the edges. Title unfortunately lost in move, but buyers should only need the bill of sale (which I have) and appropriate state forms given the age of the car. I love the car, but have to sell it as part of a divorce settlement. On Jul-09-15 at 21:40:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Mileage: 14449 Vin: 458899Gorgeous vintage SWB Porsche 912. Additional things that have come up in various exchanges with bidders and others who are interested: 1) the numbers in the door and inside the hood match, but not the engine, which must have been replaced 2) the car needs a tune-up, but I had it up and running this morning 3) no spare tire or tools came with the car; not difficult to pick up, but wanted to mention On Jul-09-15 at 22:34:43 PDT, seller added the following information: IMPORTANT UPDATE: The VIN numbers do, in fact, match – 458899 inside the front door, under the hood to the left of the hood latch, on the cross member by where the spare should be. The engine number is 750127, which based on the year (model '67, built in '66), is seemingly the original for this car. On Jul-10-15 at 12:51:29 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a few more things, as I want to make sure all is disclosed: The odometer reads 14,449, but I assume that the actual mileage is 114,449 (probably obvious, but wanted to make sure it was clear to all). With regards to the paint, seems there were a few touch ups here and there. Nothing at all visible as you look at the car, only when you examine the inside edges of the doors, hood, etc. Colors match, the taping job just wasn't perfect. Finally, one of the hub caps is slightly dented. Could be fixed or replaced, just wanted to mention.
