Vehicle Detail
Great van, but recently bought a 93 eurovan weekender, so it may be time to find this one a new home where it will see more adventure purchased in Arizona, the engine was upgraded to a 2.2l version at 113k have loads of receipts odometer stopped working when I had the slave cylinder and brakes done at 137k in NY where I rarely drove it, especially not in winter summer before last drove back out west across Canada and down to Seattle, where I got new Les Schwab Thunderer tires, tune up, new front brakes and modified exhaust system, then drove down the coast to LA last summer drove back up to Seattle, so it must have less than 145k it has an extra jumpseat which can be removed new Sony radio with Infinity speakers front and backmost of the white lining on the ceiling has been torn away to reveal the natural wood there was excess humidity over the winter leaving some mildew stains on the underside of the poptop the canvas, while not pristine, still feels solid and the slight hole looks to be from where it may have been caught in the closing mechanism rear view mirror plastic crumbled away, but was fixed with bits of wood so now it is trickier to adjust tailgate lock sticks, won't lock the sliding door lock and handle has been replaced and uses a different keythe marine battery added under the bench seat seems to be a dud, yet when hooked up to a charger, the sink pump works the fridge gets cold while driving, outer hookup still not sure don't have the key for the outside water tank filling point, but you can fill it inside from the top never used the stove still have the ice cube tray, complete curtain set, bug screen, tables, etc upholstery is intact, only a few slight stains, sheepskin covers included for both front seats just drove it, runs great, started right up after having sat for over six weeks, replaced some fuel hoses, it leaks oil at times, perhaps because I top it off too muchhaven't had time to putter around with it, but once everything is fully 100% functional, it would sell for much moremore photos are available on request including video of engine running with soundtabs are good through 5/16if I don't get reasonable price, I may keep itother vintage VW drivers rarely wave at you in a Eurovan, but they do with this one I will miss driving it, but it could be happy trails for you...
