1995 Mercedes S-class CoupeThis vehicle is being relisited due to ebay cancelling the bid due to the buyer being disqualified. Also the minimum bid has been lowered The Car Although somewhat smaller than the Sedan, the S class Coupe was the most expensive Mercedes sold in 1995 due to its limited production. In addition to the V12 389 hp engine the S600 included a special two-tone interior with more leather than the S500 and a suede headliner. The S600 also included most available options as standard equipment and carried a sticker price of well over $100,000. The paint color is black pearl , a dark charcoal metallic. The History I purchased the car as the second owner from the Mercedes dealer in Orlando, FL on 2/27/2008. Since then it has resided in Kentucky and moved, with me, to South Carolina in 2010. It has been in the south and garaged since new. The Car’s Condition The car is in excellent shape with no rust or damage. The car is fully loaded and all systems work as new except the seat lumbar adjustment. Regular recommended services were performed, most at a Mercedes shop. The odometer shows 94,833 miles, which I believe to be the actual mileage. As components failed, they were repaired. Most repairs were done at the Mercedes dealer’s shop. Some of these included: § Rear shocks § Front brakes § Steering wheel sensor for ADS § Catalytic Converters § Power Steering Pump § Motor starter Car Phone The car phone is obsolete and was removed. Instead a Motorola Bluetooth hands-free cell phone interface was installed. Multimedia A Kenwood Multimedia receiver was installed in the place of the obsolete car phone. When the Kenwood unit is off, the factory radio works as originally intended. This includes AM/FM, Weather Band, cassette tape player, and 6-CD player in the trunk, Turn on the Kenwood and the inputs to the factory original Bose amp and the acompaning 11 speakers are switched to the Multimedia player. This adds Garmin GPS, DVD video player, in dash CD player, and Sirius Satellite radio (subscription required). All manuals and a wiring diagram are provided to support repair by any qualified technician. Components are readily available on ebay. Terms A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end, PayPal is acceptable. Remainder due, in cash, when vehicle is picked up. If buyer is not satisfied with the car at pick up the seller will refund the deposit. The car is also available for sale locally and buyer reserves the right to end auction if sold.
