I am selling my 1983 Mercedes W123 Chassis Funeral Coach from Italy. It has a gas M123.921 6-Cylinder engine with automatic transmission. It was built by Grazia Carrozzeria in Bologna Italy. This car is truly ONE of a kind, you could search 100 years and not find another like it. The Good: I have a clear Oregon Title in hand The Car Just passed DEQ (Emissions) here in Oregon and has current plates and tags good through 2017. Brand new Master Cylinder just installed Only 60K miles Has the COOLEST interior of any 80s coach ever built; the glass rear light fixtures are in perfect condition. Which is good because I'm sure they are irreplaceable. The headliner is in PERFECT beautiful condition. The car starts right up every time, but stalls after a couple minutes. I believe it's a problem with the carburetor, the spring inside the thermostat cover keeps coming loose and disconnecting from the choke plate which keeps opening. You can drive it if you block the choke valve, but I would recommend having it towed wherever you are taking it. Ok, now for the bad: The rear undercarriage is pretty rusty, but seems solid. The rear door needs work, it's pretty rusty and isn't closing completely at the top, so water got in and damaged the rear curtain and floor at the rear of the car. The car needs a new paint job, there are a few spots on the body that are primered and ready for paint.Needs a new driver's side window regulator (part that makes it go up and down)- $40 item Some minor tears in the vinyl top. Hardly noticeable. Fuel Gauge is not working- just keep it full of gas! The car's actualy VIN number is: WDB12300312117932, it is an "out-of-country" VIN number and ebay does not allow it entered into the VIN area, even though the car IS registered with current license plates and tags (Good through June 2017) in Oregon. I do require a $500 deposit through paypal within 24 hours of auction end time. And the remainder of the payment made within 7 days of auction end time (Cashier's Check of CASH only). YOU the buyer are responsible for any shipping or transport arrangements and must have the vehicle picked up within 2 Weeks of auction close. (I do have a transporter I can recommend.)
