Here is a very nice, mostly original 71 Super Beetle. The car runs and drives great. No engine smoke, oil leaks, the trans shifts easily and the clutch feels good. Here's what has been replaced..... The convertible top, a complete interior/exterior rubber seal kit including the doors, front & rear side windows, windshield, fenders, hood, trunk, bumper brackets, ect., all new carpeting, new tires, complete brake job including all wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake shoes, and spring kits. All lights and gauges work. The only things that do not work are the horn and the turn signal cancel (needs a turn signal switch). The car is 99% complete and only missing a few things like the horn lol, some of the ductwork for the heater, the Karmann emblem for the pass. side fender, and the door sill plates. The car still has the radio delete so the lucky buyer needs to put in a radio and speakers if you want something other than the engine purring. The car is rust free but corrosion from the battery under the rear seat eventually ate some holes in the rear floor pan so I had the passenger side complete front and rear floor pan welded in. It was painted about 5 yrs ago so the paint is nice but not perfect. There are a few small dings here and there but nothing bad at all. All in all this is a very nice driver bug not a show car. On Jun-22-15 at 20:41:44 PDT, seller added the following information: A couple things that I forgot to mention are that the original color of the bug is yellow with black interior and top so the color scheme wasn't changed, There are no nicks or scratches in the paint and the dings that I mentioned earlier are very minor and you have to get up close to see them and I think there are 3 or 4 total. The car has a clean and clear MS title, and the car is for sale locally so I reserve the right end the auction at any time. Thanks and good luck.
