1971 Pontiac Catalina Convertible with 57,000 original miles. I purchased this car from a friend who has owned it since 1977. He drove the car from 1977 – 1983 when the right rear quarter panel was damaged in an accident. From 1983 to the present he would run the car a couple of times a year to keep fluids circulated. Since I have purchased it, I have replaced the following: new brakes all the way around including rear wheel cylinders and front calipers, master cylinder, brake booster, front wheel bearings and seals, battery, belts, air filter, PCV valve, points, plugs, condenser, rotor, cap, gas filter and also a fresh oil change. Car also has new tires and new carpet. The power top works like new. The right rear quarter panel needs to be replaced. There is some minor rust on the bottom of the front fenders and also on the wheel lip on the rear quarters. Hood bowed. The floor pan and trunk pan are 100% solid. Car runs and drives good. I have been driving it around town. Carb needs rebuilding – flutters upon first acceleration. Excellent candidate for a supreme restoration. Car is North Dakota licensed and has a good title. $500 down at end of auction. Balance due before pickup. Can store car for 30 days from end of auction.
