68 Mercury Cougar, 2nd owner. Vehicle has been garage kept entire life. Have restored vehicle as follows; new paint, rebuilt engine (done by reputable local machine shop), Edelbbrock intake manifold, Holley 4 barrel carb. forged pistons, new dual exhaust w/headers. Have approx. $7,000.00 invested in engine / transmission rebuild, approx. 2000 miles on rebuild. Vehicle has factory air, left off after rebuild, still have all original parts. Extremely high quality base / clear coat paint (original color) Still has original factory undercoating. Interior is all original with a few defects, have replaced all gaskets and weather seals. This is a true survivor car, has never had any rust. The first owner bought the car new in California as a weekend car. I have invested approximately $25,000 in the restoration. Must sell due to extensive medical bills.
