This 1917 Dodge Brothers is in great shape, no rust, paint is very good. The body and drive train are fine. Motor runs great. I have driven it to car shows with no problems. The gauges, brakes. motor, and generator/starter all work well. Even the gas tank gauge works. IT IS AN ORIGINAL. The convertible top and rear windows are exact replicas in excellent condition . Also the side curtains, (3 on each side) are like new. I purchased this in 2007 from the family that had kept it in storage for 34 years. That was when their father passed away (1972?) right after doing a complete restoration. LOOK IT OVER, IT IS ONE OF A KIND. The leather and horsehair seats I have chosen to not replace because I would rather have them original with some age spots and tears than have replicas. To me it was the thing to do. The tires and spare are in good to very good shape. I have always serviced it, and kept it in top condition in a heated garage. The wheels and woodwork are fine.
