Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1937 Ford Club Cabriolet which I am listing for my father. He purchased this car back in 1988 and after many years of storage without having time to work on it has decided to sell. This car is titled in Pennsylvania as a original 1937 Ford Convertible in the current owners name, NOT a “reconstructed“ vehicle. This has a new Chassis Engineering frame with a Mustang II front suspension and parallel leaf rear. The front suspension includes new stamped steel mustang control arms, new manual rack & pinion, new 9” brake rotors with 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern. The spindles, backing plates and strut braces are good used part. Brake calipers which could be used for cores are included. The rear is a used Ford Granada drum brake rear on new Chassis Engineering Springs. The frame was also fitted with small block chevy motor mounts, turbo 350 trans mount and manual brake pedal assy when purchased. Sitting in the chassis is a mockup engine and a rebuildable turbo 350 trans. The body is a Gibbon’s fiberglass body. He had this frame shipped to Gibbons so that the body panels could be assemble on the frame for a perfect fit. The removable fiberglass roof has about a 2 ½” chop. The rivets which held on the top for shipping have never even been removed. All body panels are fiberglass with the exception of an original 37 hood and side panels which are in good condition. The grill is a aftermarket reproduction. I believe the headlights are very clean originals. The dash is a smooth fiberglass dash, a steel frame has been fabricated and installed to support the installation of a steering column. Also included loose are aluminum window frames, fender braces, original 37 bumpers (no brackets), fiberglass garnish moldings and a pair of ford bucket seats. Payment – a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $500 is expected within 48 hours of auction close. Paypal accepted for deposit only. Any form of check is acceptable for balance of payment however the vehicle will not be released until funds have cleared into our account.. Buyer is responsible for shipping however we will pack and help load the vehicle.
