Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Up for auction is my beloved 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport. We bought this Jeep with 29,000 miles off of a lease from Franklin Sussex Jeep Dodge. It has been pampered all of its life and was my favorite car. However, I lent the vehicle to a friend who got the Jeep into an accident several weeks ago. He slid off the road, into a slight ravine and braced the vehicle up against a telephone pole. This is why the fender, door, and windshield were damaged. Positives. I take excellent care of my vehicles, including regular oil changes, scheduled maintenance with my mechanic, and regularly scheduled detailing. The Jeep has limited rust for the year it is. It has been undercoated two times: once when we purchased it and once two years ago. The most recent undercoating, performed by Ziebart, included a frame wash out and fame tube coating, which prevents the Jeep frames from rusting inside out. The Jeep interior is quite clean and has had vinyl seat covers on the vehicle from when we purchased it. The floor is coated in a rubberized material, because many jeeps get water under the floor mats and rust. Therefore, when the Jeep was new, I removed the carpeting and had it coated. I have the original carpeting, original step rails, and original air intake, which come with it. The Jeep has a K&N cold air intake on the 4.0 L 6 cylinder. I upgraded the wheels to the Rubicon style wheels. All of the plastic fenders were replaced last year because the original ones were faded. Negatives. It really upsets me to see the Jeep in an accident. I planned on keeping it for the long haul, which it why it was so well cared for. In the accident, the fiberglass roof was on and it cracked. Hence, the vehicle does not come with the original fiberglass roof, only the soft top. The fender, door, hood, and windshield need to be replaced, as they were damaged. The Jeep runs just as it did before the accident and drives fine. The impact from the accident was not terribly harsh, so the airbags did not deploy. The front left blinker and fog light do not work after the accident. The Jeep body shifted slightly on the frame upon impact. As a result, the ten body-to-frame bolts should be loosened and the tub should be shifted back to its original position. This is a well cared for Wrangler, which needs some body work to get it back to perfect. I have entertained fixing the vehicle myself and keeping it, but have two additional vehicles because the Wrangler was my summer car. I work out of town in finance (the Jeep was always garaged at my parents house) and do not have the time to go searching and finding used parts. So, sadly, I have decided to sell the Wrangler. Thank you for your interest. The reserve is $5,300. On Jun-11-15 at 21:22:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I have lowered the reserve to $4600. Serious bidders only, please. Some have asked why I am not fixing the vehicle through insurance: I removed the collision (unfortunately) at 10 years, 100K miles because I couldn't justify paying the extra premium, hence the accident was not covered by collision insurance.
