This is an old car. I am not the original owner. MY neighbor gifted the vehicle almost 28 years ago after the owner suddenly passed away. It has sat in a one car garage (not climate controlled) for the full 28 years. The motor was turned over a few times here and there but not in the last 5 years. There is no possible way for me to describe every little thing about this 1971 Mercedes. It has not moved or driven in 28 years. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS JUST ASK! This most definitely can be restored to like new condition. However I am not a body shop and have no knowledge as to what work is involved. Maybe the value is in the parts??? There is some exterior rust. Most of it seems to be in the lower sections. My retired father has spent some time trying to clean it up with anti rust since it is not sitting in a garage any longer. One tail light is cracked. All the doors, hood and trunk work. They all seem to be lined with no sign of major accidents however there is a dent on the drivers door and two on the passenger side. The drivers door seems to have been resprayed or more like hand painted by someone unqualified. It is possible they may have filled a dent and then painted. This is in the same section where there is currently a dent. All exterior trim is in good condition. Tires are no good but perfectly fine as rollers. The interior is in good condition. It has a musty smell from sitting. The dash is not cracked, the seats are not torn, there are no stains. No cracks in any of the glass. I have no information regarding the engine. It has not run in a long time. The mileage is actual! There is an oil change sticker inside the door that shows next oil change 37,000 1987. I can not get the car out of park and the brake calipers are likely locked. PLEASE PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS and I will answer the best I can.
