This 1971 Cadillac Eldorado runs good. Car has been driven weekly since I purchased it approximately 2 years ago. The Good, the bad and the ugly: - Decent paint job. Completed at Maaco. Some minor rust remains.- Floorpans have bee replaced. - Suspension and brakes replaced.- Radiator Replaced. - Edelbrock Performance Series 1407 Carburetor- Top intact. all components appear present and motor works. Missing tension cables and thus is not operational. Top itself in good condition.- Power windows. All but one work. Needs new guides. Motor and switches work.- Interior seats have been replaced with a tweed material. Looks good but not original. One small burn present in drivers seat from previous owner. - Has newer speakers and radio deck. Not working - needs new speaker wire. - Missing a few chrome pieces. - have new seals and other misc. parts - has new fiberglass interior door panels. - white walls have about 3,000 miles on them. - car runs very good. Starts easy and runs strong. Have taken car north of 85 mph- we typically take it for 50+ mile drives around Atlanta without any incidents. - overall, this car looks good and runs real good. it is not impeccable - definitely a project car but can also be enjoyed as is. It is probably a C+ grade driver car. - New Alternator and Battery- Wired for subs- all new wires and hoses. - New OEM seatbelts- Most safety and mechanical items replaced or repaired.- Decent amount of cosmetics remain but still looks good. gets a lot of compliments, looks and comments when out and about.- Hauls a$$!a lot of details. we are moving to a home without a garage and i dont want to leave her under a car cover.
