I purchased this truck to use as a parts truck for another project I'm working on but after getting it home and giving it a closer inspection it is far too straight to part it out. It is a project truck for sure but the basics are all there. The bed, rear fenders, steps, and tailgate have only surface rust with the exception of the front bed panel which has rust out at the bottom where the boards touch it. (see pics) Still has the original bed boards and as the pics show, they are in pretty good condition. Undercarriage and frame look good. Floorboards are solid. Tires are old but still hold air and truck rolls easily. I've tried to show pics of all of the rust spots... which are easy fixes...cab corners, lower front fenders, hood. Windshield is cracked but the rest of the glass is in good shape. No engine, no transmission, no seat Truck has a clear Missouri title. Milage shown is what the speedometer shows but I have no way of knowing what the exact milage is...Ebay insists you put a number in there. (as seen in the pics, there are 2 brackets attached to the front bumper that are not included with the truck...these are for my tow bar and I left them on in case I need to move it) As I said, this is a project, but these great looking little stepsides are getting harder to find and I think it would be a shame to part one out when it is restorable. I have my reserve price set at just what I have in the truck and it is less than it will bring in parts alone so hopefully someone needs a project and I won't have to part it out. Vehicle is located in central Missouri and is sold As-Is Where-Is. with low opening bid and low reserve. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, however, I can deliver within a 200 mile radius for $1.25 per loaded mile. $500 down payment to be made thru Paypal within 48 hours of auction ending and balance to be paid in cash at time of pick up. Vehicle to be picked up within 1 week unless other arrangements are agreed upon prior to auction end. I can hold this for a while as long as it is paid for in full.
