Vehicle Detail
1985 Ford BRONCO 4x4 THESE 30 yr old 4x4s are getting more RARE AND DESIRABLE Our prices are REALISTIC with a LOW RESERVE !! BID TO WIN I hate to sell this truck, they are getting harder to find this clean even here in AZ. Most of the Broncos Ive seen for sale are just beat up and owned by kids who dont respect them. This one was adult owned for many yrs and although did get a few basic mods done to it over the yrs , its still a very un-molested survivor Bronco. Our goal is to sell the first time and move on to the next . Its surprising to me to see other sellers put up auctions with few pics and dont even bother to show what the under carriage looks like. Not us ! We have some of the best marketed vehicles on ebay..Our belief is do it right, or dont do it at all ! This is the best way to market a vehicle long distance and over the net. 1 of the most sought after model Broncos and the removable Hardtop is a plus ! Arizona Truck minimal rust / still probably less rust on this truck then anything on ebay not restored. Purchase one of our southwest vehicles from the Arizona desert and spend less time repairing rust for weeks on end, and keep more of the original sheetmetal making your project worth more in the end and spending less money in the end. Your friends would be jealous thats for sure ! Brief description: Its a driver, hop in and fire it up and take it anywhere around in town our out of town. It may need a tune up somewhat since the aluminum intake and carb have been installed last yr, it does smell like its running rich. So may need some tuning. I was going to check the timing this week also, but for a driver, it needs very little. Youll see in the pics below, its 100 % original paint from 1985, all but the hood, which was primered a few yrs ago due to sun damage. Zero rust and NO BONDO ! AMAZING CONDITION under this truck. Why buy a Bronco with rust when you can buy something as pristine as this truck ? Ted Nugent would go nuts on a Bronco like this ! It would be cool to just restore the mechanics of it all and leave the paint AS IS, because you know what they say, they are Only original ...once. OUR 100% FEEDBACK speaks for itself - and its there for a reason. and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this past year here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence. NOT MANY OF THESE trucks left with original sheetmetal still like this one. UN RESTORED SURVIVOR. Our auctions clearly show the most detail of what to expect Over any other auctions Ive seen online. Buy with confidence !! The trucks been in Az as far back as we can track, even the DSO code is for PHX making it a true AZ TRUCK. PLEASE check out all the pics below, there is NO ROT FOUND on the body anywhere and its 1 of the nicest survivor Broncos Ive come across in yrs. Arizona trucks are time capsules half the time and the best kind to restore. THE patina on the truck is great ! Shows aprox 120k on the odometer. EXTERIOR: you are looking at the same paint put on the truck in 1985. (except the top of the hood). If you look close you can see a few dents on and around the body (dr side behind door / pass side lower rocker ) are the worst areas but easy fixes. Most of the trim is in great shape too, only a few pieces really need replacing. Original paint means No Bondo or previous damage and repairs, so no hidden issues either ! For a 30+ yr old truck, its still in pretty nice shape. ITS NOT RESTORED, but all Original and pretty cool just that way. Check out all the pics, please !! Up front you will see a custom Ft bumper/ Ramsey Winch assembly. THIS DOES NOT COME WITH THE TRUCK IF THERE IS A WINNER AT THE END OF THE AUCTION - BUT it is optional to the winner if the want it for only $500 more. If they dont want it, we will unbolt it and it will come to you w/o the Ft bumper & winch set up. I think the ft windshield does have a small crack in it too. Its been like that for a few yrs. Rest of the glass looks good but it does need to be re-tinted or just all stripped off. All the lights seem to be working well front and rear too. DRIVETRAIN: it is an original factory 302 V8 2v with an 3 spd auto trans. connected to the one of the best 4x4 systems to come stock on a 4x out of Detroit. It does have what looks to be a 4" lift kit F/R and the truck sits and rides great. 3 tires match and are M/Ts while the RR tire is the same size but an A/T at the moment. Its going to need a new set of tires in the near future. Its sitting on some 33x12.50s right now. The spare doesnt match the other rims and the tire too is not in very good shape. The rims are just std 15x10 Black mod steel wheels. I believe the trans to be Fords C6 too. The rear axles are from Sierra Gear & Axle and its very possible the previous owner did a gear swap too on both axles, but I havent been able to verify that yet. Not sure what all works been done to the front and rear diffs. Factory steering stabilizer and dual shock Front hubs are locking / unlocking too. Runs good, a little rich , but Id hop in it and drive it anywhere. A few yrs ago the aluminum intake and 4v Edelbrock where installed and its run fine. Ive also been told an aftermarket RV style cam was also installed, but cannot verify this 100%. Rest of the motor looks to be stock even down to the original smog stuff still on the truck like when it left the factory. Unmolested in this area really makes restoring a truck like this easier too. Even down to the exhaust system, this took looks all factory helping when its time to go thru and passing emissions. Starts all the time and runs well for off-roading if you want or just trips to Home Depot or as a daily driver. Motor sounds good and runs well as does the factory auto trans. INTERIOR: old, original showing its age, its a little dusty inside but its functional and you can use it just the way it is, or do a mild resto on it and restore it back to factory wouldnt take much. Carpet is probably the worst part of the interior. And the front seats are a little dirty in areas. They may shampoo out clean but we havent detailed it yet. I may have the interior professionally shampooed this week. Tailgate panel is off at the moment because the latch rod fell off and needs to be re-attached with the proper hardware. 2nd row seats not in bad shape and fully functional. No radio anymore but most people have their own taste in audio. All the gauges I think are working too. Pass side ft window and tailgate glass have old old window tint still on them, The tint needs to be removed. Door panels and other areas of the interior are showing their age. usable the way they are but if you want to restore it the parts are available aftermarket making your restoration easier. Front windshield does have a crack in it on the pass side. I think thats the majority of it all. All the windows roll up and down even the back electric window. ALL the factory A/C stuff is there the best we can tell but its not blowing cold Anymore. SUSPENSION: as previously mentioned, the truck is lifted and looks to be like a 4" lift (maybe 6" ?) Some cool factory stuff like steering stabilizer and dual shock set up up front. The truck drives fine around town even with the older tires. I havent had it on the freeway much, but its Az and its been on a few excursions outside the city in the desert and it wheels just like you would expect an older Bronco to off-road. The independent front axle makes these trucks drive so much nicer then the older models and still off Road well too. Truck equipped of course with factory PS and PDB up front. Check out ALL the pics below -----> If other auctions are not showing areas under their trucks, who really knows what sort of shape its in. Dont find out the hard and $$ way. At least our auctions show as much as possible to potential buyers and bidders. it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
