FOR SALE: 1974 Toyota Celica ST Here is an unmolested original a clean canvas to go any direction you wish. No hidden body or interior surprises. The car runs and drives very smoothly. I drive it on the freeway 65-75 and no issues at all. It is great on gas runs cool never goes over 180 degrees on temp gauge, oil pressure is good, tachometer works as well as does the speedometer and they are accurate. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. Just remember it is a 41 year old car. This is an original low milage car from Southern California. I was told milage is actual look at engine pictures clean. I drive this car from time to time so the milage will go up a little during the course of the auction. It was sold here and stayed here since new. This car has no rust/rot. The spare tire well is dry and clean. Paint is original as is the interior. The original 18RC motor runs well starts right up and drives nicely no smoke or rough idle. This car was dealer maintained since new. I recently acquired this car from the original elderly owner and had the original small California Pink Slip. He sold it as he can no longer drive due to issues with his sight. As you can see by the photos the passenger side has a scrape from the garage. The trunk lid has dents as the car also has some minor tiny dings here and there and are all are easily repairable. The dash has two cracks in it and the front seats could use a bit of repair work. The weather stripping along the roof rail and the 1/4 windows need replacing. The drivers seat belt has to be fastened before the car will start a neat safety option that still works. All of the gauges work. The heater and defroster still work. The cigarette lighter works as well. The radio and clock do not work. The original keys are with the car as well. All electrical lights work as they should. Passenger side sun visor is missing. Drivers door lock is not working so it will need to be replaced a $35.00 part for the pair and easy to install. There is a small star chip in windshield. The car has 4 new tires on the original aluminum slot rims. The interior could use a good cleaning. The door panels, headliner rear seat are all in good shape just a bit dirty looking. The front seats could use repair. This is a good solid car that with paint and a little interior repair and cleaning will be an awesome looking Japanese Classic that are now becoming collectible. With a little TLC this car will make an awesome Old School collectable Japanese classic car. The only reason I am selling is I have located and purchased a 1971 model Celica and I figured I will pass this one along to a fellow enthusiast. The car is sold as is where is. No warranties are written, expressed or implied. Local pick up is okay in Los Angeles, Ca. Shipping is buyers responsibility. I will work with shipper on pick up to load the car for you.
