Selling my 2000 Jetta TDI. 418k miles. 5 speed manual trans. I have owned the car since 264k miles. At 264k miles I installed a VR6 clutch upgrade. At 330k I installed a 100k mile timing belt kit, it will be due for another timing belt in 12k miles or less, oil pump chain was also installed at this time. At 370k I installed a used transmission with 100k miles on it, also installed a new camshaft and lifters. Car has a Dieselgeek EGR delete, aluminum skidplate, Frostheater coolant heater, upgraded 520 injectors. Mann ProVent CCV filter. During the time that I owned it all of the front end components have been replaced with Moog products, including shocks, brakes, bushings, etc. Car spent the first 264k of its life in Texas, and from 264 to present in IL. The body is in good shape for the miles with no rust, but the usual dents and dings. Interior is dirty and needs a good cleaning but also in good shape for the mileage on the car. Mechanically the car needs a coolant leak fixed, I believe from the thermostat housing, and will need a timing belt kit in 12k miles. Tires are all matching but worn. Sunroof switch needs to be replaced, as well as trunk release mechanism. This car has a lot of miles on it, but also has a lot of life left in it and drives very well for a car of its age/mileage. I am not driving nearly as much as I used to and have no need for the car. Car is for sale locally and the auction can be ended at anytime.
