Ive yet to see anyone else on ebay put up detailed pics like ours. We dont have alot of fine print blah blah. Just the important stuff buyers are looking for. VERY RARE AND DESIRABLE 1966 Ford F100 SWB - stock sheetmetal is in AMAZING CONDITION !! Arizona Truck minimal rust / still probably less rust on this truck then anything on ebay not restored. BUY 1 of our AZ vehicles and spend less time repairing rust for weeks on end, and keep more of the original sheetmetal making your project worth more in the end and spending less money in the end. Brief description: Its was a driver, hop in and fire it up and take it anywhere around in town our out of town. I may need a tune up soon. Just recently the heater core started leaking. To be a daily Farm truck, fix the heater core. Put on a fresh set of tires & maybe adjust the clutch a little and its about ready to go. To be a little nicer, replace the dr side window and re-do the front seat. After that, it would be great to just tool around town or to the local shows like that. OPTION 2: slam it and resto mod it some ! Your choice :) Youll see in the pics below, its had 1 repaint about 30 yrs ago.. Very rust free AZ desert truck w/ NO BONDO ! AMAZING other then a few dents around the body, even the bed is in great shape. Sure it needs some work to be perfect, but doesnt need much that we can see to be a daily driver. The last owner added an extra fuel tank, we are currently running it off the reserve added tank under the bed. The original gas tank behind the ft seat is fine, but should be drained and maybe cleaned out before being used. It would be cool to just restore the mechanics of it all and leave the paint AS IS, because you know what they say, they are Only original ...once. This trucks been in Az as far back as we can track and the DSO CODE is from Phoenix AZ. PLEASE check out all the pics below, there is NO ROT FOUND on the body anywhere and its 1 of the nicest survivor SB F100s Ive come across in yrs. Arizona trucks are time capsules half the time and the best kind to restore. THE patina on the truck is great ! EXTERIOR: For a 40+ yr old truck, its still in pretty nice shape. ITS NOT RESTORED, but all Original and pretty cool just that way. Check out all the pics, please !! Original color was Rangoon Red and has had 1 repaint back in the 70s. Rear bumper is ugly but easily removed. Both rear tail light lenses are NEW. Doors and tailgate work great. Stainless trim is in great shape too. The one Missing piece on the pass side by the door does come with the truck !@ Its in the glove box. Windshield has a crack, but if you win the truck and want me to replace it for you before it ships, lmk and I can get you a good price installed. Dr door glass not installed. Very original and honest F100. The original SB is in amazing shape too for its age. The previous owner did install a tool box as youll see in the pics below. Its bolted in to the bed and very functional, but easily removable too if you want. We do have an old school aluminum shell available too for the truck if you are interested, email us. Its $100 more if the winner wants it. DRIVETRAIN: it is an original factory 352 factory V8 connected to a 4 spd new process truck transmission fitted to the original 9" outback. Pump the gas twice and it fires up everytime. When its cold the choke doesnt seem to work 100% and doesnt idle as well as it does when its warmed up. But the motor sounds good, smooth for its age and has no weird noises and no smoke or blowby noticed. Trans shifts a little stiff, and clutch may just need to be adjusted. Wheels are 15x8 old school black mods with some pretty old tires. Just decent enough for short trips around town. Heater core should be replaced or by passed soon. I may try to do the repair this week (the cores are about $50 new) INTERIOR: old, original showing its age, its because its an Az truck yrs here in the Az desert, the front bench seat / foam got pretty beat up. But if the front seat was redone and a new headliner put in, it would be very acceptable for a daily driver or cruise night. Floors are super solid as are the bottom of the doors etc. Radio doesnt work and previous owner added what looks like two gauges to the dash. Original padded black dash is pretty cool. Roof dome light still works too. The rubber and weather stripping is all but gone and needs to be replaced soon. SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension thats been taken care of over the years. It drives nice for an older F100..Im sure it may need some bushings and shocks because of their age, but it drives down the road okay and just feels like an old farm truck in many ways... No spare with the truck.
