Hello, For your consideration is this beautiful 1965 Volkswagen Powered Dune Buggy. If you are looking for a fun Summer cruiser that draws a lot of attention and is a total blast to drive then look no further. This Buggy started life as a 1965 VW Beetle and with a few modifications and improvements you end up with a neat part of automotive history. This Buggy is powered by a 1835 c.c. 4 cylinder dual port air cooled VW engine with dual Weber Carbs a hotter cam shaft. The engine runs very well and is pretty quick. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts well. The clutch is in like new condition. The fiberglass body is new and was manufactured by Berrien Buggies then was mounted on a reinforced VW chassis. The new paint flawless and beautiful, The buggy was done in GM'S wave blue with House Of Colors rainbow metal flake to give it that great nostalgic look . My pictures do not do the paint justice. The interior is new and features carpeted floor and sides custom rear seat and a new shifter. The Buggy is equipped with seatbelts front and rear. The windshield is new. The VDO instrument gauges are new. The Wheel & Tires are in very good condition. The wheels are made by Empi the tires are Mickey Thompson Baha's. Other notables: New LED taillights & front park lights, new headlights, new exhaust system, new wiring harness, new front bumper, new rearview mirrors new CNC brand clutch, brake and gas pedal assembly. The Buggy will come with a clear Ohio title. Titled as a 1965 Volkswagen with a dune buggy conversion. The true mileage is unknown and the title will be marked as such this just due to all the different modifications this car has gone through including a digital speedometer.
