We bought this car in California in 1990. It came to us with little rust, and then we rustproofed it sometime around 2002-3. Today, it has some surface rust, slight peeling paint in a few areas, and a few dings. The seat cushions need some TLC, as you can see from the pictures. In recent years, we have given this Bug only light workouts in the summer. We haven't had any problems with it, and it seems to be in good shape, but it's 45 years old, and we are selling it as is.
