If you want a nice drop top cruiser for the Summer then look no further! Up for auction is my personal driver Jaguar XK8 convertible that I hate to part with but since I need to get rid of a couple cars in the driveway and this one will have to go. This was not a neglected cat and the care over the years for it is evident with one look at the interior and the exterior but please read this description in full as I will tell you everything I can but if I miss anything please email me and I will be glad to help. No matter how nice the car is there are a few blemishes that I will point out first. Please note this has a salvage title due to a very light front hit that cracked the bumper and dented the hood (see pictures), damage was minimal but, when you factor in how expensive Jaguar parts are, the car was totaled for basically a very very minor accident. Bumper was repaired and repainted, the hood with its dents was left on it as I just couldn't justify getting a new one given that the dents are small and again this was my daily driver so the car was bound to get a few nicks here and there. The guy who I had fix the front didn't quite set the emblem on the front bumper correctly and I saw that fly over my windshield on the interstate when I had her up around 85mph. The rest of the car is straight and beautiful, the XK8 in silver is one of the nicest cars on the road. The interior is near mint with the only issue being a slight bit of wear on the driver side seat bolster. Everything works including the top, the a/c is ice cold and the radio can make your ears bleed. I installed upgraded 18" wheels and tires from a 2001 XK8, it has Goodyear F1 ZR tires on the rear, Tiger Paw skins are on the front. Great ride, she is just as smooth as you'd expect a luxury convertible to drive. No mechanical issues, the engine, transmission and brakes all function excellent. Only other issues are the ABS light is on and I know I have seen the traction control disabled warning light before but it is not on now. It's a Jaguar, there will be some electrical gremlins I guess haha. Air bag light is on due to the mechanic who fixed the car forgetting to reattach the front air bag sensors. BTW there was absolutely NO AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT in the accident so these will need to be reconnected. There is a scratch on the upper side of the driver door mirror casing (pictured). This car really only needs a driver, you can fix the dents in the hood or leave it as is like I did. Best part is that you can drive this car anywhere and for the money I doubt there is a better car out there and I offer up this auction at NO RESERVE!
