This charming little Diesel sedan is a great solid core for a total restauration - or use as parts - you could also just have the brakes gone through, mount new tires - drain the 30 year old fuel and drive it as is - please inspect car or send an agent to evaluate it before you bid - If you have negative feedback, or have left unwarrented negative feedback, I respectfully ask not to bid - it is a no reserve auction high bidder will own this car - Questions call me or email me (253) 926-6305 - sale is final and as is where is - the car will start, and drive on to a auto transport rig - she is little difficult to start when cold, this I presume is due to the tank being nearly full with diesel fuel since 1985 when the original owner parked her in a barn in Eastern Washington, the odometer shows less than 90,000 miles, judging from the wear on the pedal rubber, this could very well be the case - if you do not want to wait until auction ends, the first $2500.00 takes the car away - clean signed off title - Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost - titling in your state etc. Tires hold air - spare tire is pathetic retread, remember those? there are two additional 13" rims The left rear footwell/floor has rust perforation, but I made sure when I bought the car that the suspension mounting area under the rear seat is rock solid, left rear floor will need a 16" x 12" metal panel welded in and sealed, this is the only signifigant rust repair required In summation this is a good core to do a wonderful full restauration on a deserving little car For those asking about clear title Please see last photo - I purchased car in January, the previous owners signed off on the title, I have not registered it in my name, as due to circumstances I would not be able to restore this car to the level it deserves, but the car is free of liens or encumberances of any sort = CLEAN TITLE See last photo Also had question about holding the car for three weeks, that is not a problem, but buyer must have the car inspected before doing a buy now, and must be paid for in the time allowed as per description, I can hold a paid for car in my garage until June 1 - 2015. The car still has original decayed red factory leatther seats for driver and passenger, as well as the skeleton for rear seat - the rear seat placed in the car is out of a 124 M-Benz a pair of very serviceable tan matching front seats are included in the sale - I bought these to retrofit a pair of electric seats with all the nice adjustments Please note I will be advertising the car locally, and reserve the right to end the listing early Thank You for looking, as a sidebar, I want the car to go to a Mercedes enthusiast that will take the time and expense for a proper restoration which the car is deserving of, I feel such a very original car will not come along too often for $2500
