Vehicle Detail

1917 Chevrolet 490 Series Center Door (Passenger Side) All Side Windows Are Removable And The A Pillars Remove Also Making It A Open Air Car With a Hardtop? Both Door Window Frames Also Fold Down When Glass Is Lowered. I've searched and searched and cant find a picture or info that resembles this Chevy! Clean NJ Title, I will be listing more cars from the same estate. 1925 Chevrolet and a 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Oerhead valve four-cylinder engine, three-speed manual transmission, semi-elliptic rear springs, 11-inch rear-wheel brakes. - Older restoration with lovely patina Restored in the 1970's - Same ownership since 1978 This 1917 Chevy 490 was restored sometime in the mid-1970s. For the next few decades this wonderful car and its owner were a mainstay in the Antique Car Club of NJ, and it was used frequently for local parades, weddings and other events along with the other Chevy's in his collection. While it now shows wear, the condition is ideal for those enthusiasts who want a usable collector car with a lovely patina with little work to make it a driver. Finished black ( only avail color in 1917) with tan interior, this fun and very usable early Chevrolet would complement any collection of early prewar cars and could be driven as is with little work or completely restored back to show-quality condition. The car is currently not running. I did however place a battery in the car to check to see if she would crank. Motor turns but seems tight. I would drain the fuel tank and change all fluids before attempting to start her. The wife of the estate claims the car was last used in 2001 and was in running condition at that time. All tires hold air. Extremely solid for her age with minor repairs over the years. Dual gas tanks located under the front seats. See pictures for a better description. Within a weekend with fresh fuel, battery and some love. Original jack included. Absolute Sale No Reserve! $500 Deposit Due At End Of Auction. Balance Within 5 Days. Located In Voorhees NJ 08043
