This Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was purchased new by it's current owner in 1972 from Ramsey Toyota in New Jersey. It has undergone a restoration and driven just a few hundred miles since completed. The drive train was not touched since the vehicle has only 28,900 miles. Restoration took place over a period of years starting in 1999 through 2002 and there are records included in the sale. The body and paint was done by Premier Auto Collision Experts in Wilmington, NC. New paint in the original Freeborn Red. The build included many new parts new upholstery, new top, door canvas, body mounts, rear bumper, dash pad, etc. Parts of the rear tub were replaced with that of a rust free 1977 FJ40. The original spare tire carrier is included in the sale and is in great condition. Also included is the sale are a number of original and spare parts. The tires have very few miles, but are 12 years old. The original jack, jack rods, window sticker & manual are included. Always stored inside since the restoration.
