With great sadness, I'm selling my 2005 Mini Cooper S JCW coupe. I am the fourth owner of this car, and searched for almost a year for the perfect car. I purchased this car in October of last year and had planned to keep it for a long time, but life circumstances are now prompting the sale of this car. This is a very rare car -- it was factory optioned with the John Cooper Works, including the more recent exhaust as well as factory LSD. Most John Cooper Works cars were dealer installed. The car is completely stock. Car has been well maintained. Car is located in the San Francisco Bay area. I can coordinate with the winning bidder, meeting them at the airport for a low fuss, easy transaction. Clean CarFax. Title is clear. I hold clear title. Reg valid until December 2015. Have all three sets of keys + 2 locking keys for the Mini Fini system. Pictures are of actual car. There is a parking sticker on the rear bumper -- it was applied on top of a piece of paint protection film so it can be removed easily and without any residue or damage to the bumper. On Mar-30-15 at 09:51:35 PDT, seller added the following information: A few points of clarification, answers to questions from bidders:(1) There is a typo in some places of the listing as to the model year. This car is a 2006 (not a 2005), the last year of the R53. The car has a production date of 9.11.2015. Confirmed via CarFax. There are no substantive differences between the two years but all other things being equal, the newer the year, the better.(2) Not shown but which will be included is a Mini Fini accessory attachment. I don't have pics of it right now (it's in storage), but consider it a further freebie.(3) Battery was replaced preventatively a few months ago with a Sears Die Hard AGM. (4) A full build sheet and option code list is below. You'll see 3ALA, which only shows up on cars that were factory equipped with JCW kit. Option code S2TAA is the factory LSD, another rare option.
