Vehicle Detail
1973 240Z. 4spd. No A/C. Some of the pictures show turbine wheels, but the car currently has Konig Rewind 15x8 wheels and that's what you will get. (The turbine wheels are not included in this listing). The SU carbs on the car are supposedly fairly new (not rebuild, but new from Nissan parts department). I have the air filters for them (shown in one of the pictures above). Stock exhaust manifold (not header), stock exhaust. Konig Rewind 15x8 wheels, they have about 500miles on them, but the tires are dry rotted (I bought the wheels from my friend, who bought the wheels new, but bought used tires. If you asked me, that's a false economy, but that's what he did). So you should probably want a new set of tires. Alternatively, I have 14inch steel wheels with almost new tires, so if the buyer wants, I can substitute the Knig wheels & tires setup with the 14" almost new tires & steel wheels. Pertronix distributor & Fire-thrower coil. MSA Aluminium 3 raw radiator. Recent replacements include: Brake booster, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, zinc plated fuel rail, rear wheel bearings, windshield weatherstrip, power antenna, starter, Internally regulated alternator upgrade, headlight relay upgrade. The dash mat shown in the picture is NOT included in the sale. I simply forgot to remove it when taking pictures. The seats have no rips. The driver's seat is a little saggy. The seats are from 1970 240Z. Leather steering wheel.Other features include: 240Z logo-ed floor mats, wood shift knob. The driver's side rear plastic trim panel is missing (it was cracked pretty badly, so I threw it away). Once the car warms up, it runs pretty well. The car was painted in Le mans Sunset color (I think it's the 250Z color) circa year 2004 by then owner. It's a pretty nice color. Though there are some scars and isome imperfections, the car is quite presentable shape and looks nice. It runs decently well also. The interior looks decently clean also. The car is by no means perfect, but it is a pretty decent entry-level car for those who wants a clean looking Z that runs and wants to learn about the car and tinker with it. According to what I heard from the previous owner, the owner before him had a bunch of work done, including body and paint. There is no visible rust holes on the floors or on the body, but I see some evidence of fiberglass on the floor, but that's how majority of Z owners fix cars anyways. (I part out a lot of Z cars, and I'd say 9 out of 10 cars have some level of fiberglass repair). If this bothers you, I should be clear to you that you should be looking for a $20,000+ rust free running Z. But if you are just looking for a decent looking Z that runs and drives, this may not be a bad car. The previous owner had the car for 5-6years, then he started to replacing this and that, and before he realized, he basically stripped the whole interior, windshield, and the engine stopped running. That's when he ran out of $ and interest (typical story), and that's when I bought this car. I finished where he started and fixed what was broken, but don't get that mistaken with restoration, it is not a full restoration, I just fixed the car and made it operational. If you are seriously interested in the car, I encourage you to make an appointment to come see the car in person. The car is sold as is, where is, no warrantee offered or implied. A non-refundable down payment of $1000 will have to be made within 24hours of the end of the auction, and the buyer will have 10 days to arrange a pickup. If the buyer is international buyer, and require my help with the export, I can do that at cost (I've done that several times). But for that, the car will first have to be paid in full. The $1000 deposit can be made via paypal, but the whole payment will need to be via bank wire transfer, cash, or casher's check only. The fund must clear first, before pickup. If you have questions, please ask. No trades. Thank you for watching.
