I bought this Land Cruiser in 2007 off of eBay and drove it home but just barely. After arriving home I realized how dangerous the drive home had been. The brakes rotors were literally worn through, the guibo joint in the steering column was dry rotted, the tires were dry rotted...it was rough. In the years since a laundry list of parts were replaced or upgraded. I have no idea of current mileage. It's exempt from the odometer readings in the state of Florida due to it's age. I replaced tires with BFG All Terrains, new wheels, new front wheel bearings and seals, new radiator, Ford Taurus electric fan, solid state electric fan controller, bikini top, rewired much of the vehicle, rebuilt the heater core, stainless steel brake lines, new front rotors, calipers, master cylinder, brake booster, moved the battery under the hood, installed power steering, LED tail lights, Hella headlights, new front bumper, new shackles, Rancho shocks, Ford Super Duty front shock towers, etc. A few years ago my second son was born and my time for the Land Cruiser disappeared. I've now gone back to school and I don't anticipate any more time in the future than I've had to work on this again. It hasn't been run in three years. I began to have difficulties starting it which I attributed to carb issues. They were beyond my own time or ability to correct and so it got parked.
