You are viewing a super cool 1981 CJ-5 Renegade. This Jeep still wears it's original dark green paint with its original Renegade decals and stripes! It has great patina that can only be had with 30 plus years of wear and care. This Jeep was built for off road but is still very capable on the road too. This Jeep was built right! It is a beast off road and is a lot of fun to cruise around town in too. The motor starts easily and runs good. It holds perfect oil pressure and does not run hot or smoke. The trans. shifts well and the 4WD operates as it should. The brakes feel good and the tires have at least 70% tread life remaining. The paint looks great and is what really makes this Jeep stand out! It has great patina and draws a crowd wherever it goes. The body has some small dents, dings, scrapes, etc., but is still very sharp as you can see in the pics. It is quite solid too as are the frame and body mounts. This has been a Southern Jeep for all of its life and has never been subjected to harsh winters, road salt, etc. These Jeeps are getting harder and harder to find in this condition.
