These cars were only produced for one year and are really climbing in value. Ford only made 1806 of these Boss 351’s in 1971 making them harder and harder to come by. The Boss 351 4v 4Bolt main Cleveland motor was one of fords fastest motors. Many claim that the Boss 351 was one of Ford fastest factory cars turning a very fast time in the ¼ mile. The engines in these cars are very hard to come by and luckily this car still has the original engine with the VIN stamped on the rear of the block. The car is a project but will be a very valuable car once restored. The good thing about the car is that it does have many of its original parts. The car still retains all of the factory seats, Tach Gauges, radio, everything. I hope to possibly find the build sheet this week. The original spare tire is still in the trunk. Glass: The car has all of the original glass and it is in good condition. Body: The body of the car does need rust repair. The roof, and windows channels are very good with no rust. The area around the trunk weatherstripping where the quarters come to the trunk is also very nice. I would plan on putting a new trunk floor, new hood, new quarters, new doors, fender patches, cowl work, talight panel replacement or repair, rear frame rail end work, and other smaller miscellaneous rust repairs. This is an excellent opportunity to get a highly desirable and rare Boss 351. One of the best color combinations that was on a mustang and it has its original engine and transmission!!!!!!!
