*****No reserve! Please read entire description.****Up for auction is my one owner 2006 Volvo Cross Country XC70. Bought March 2006, with 2 miles. Well maintained car overall. Clean CARFAX report showing one owner, and no accidents. Finished in very attractive "Java Sand Metallic" with exceptionally clean " Dark Taupe" leather interior. The engine runs smoothly and very well. Regular oil changes performed since new. Features factory Bluetooth, power moonroof, compact disc player, power seats, windows, locks, and heated mirrors and seats. Even included are original floor mats, books, and aluminum Volvo "ski bars" for the roof rack. Recent timing belt performed, and freshly serviced with brand new brakes, 4 tires, oil. Just passed Connecticut emissions***NEEDS TRANSMISSION WORK** please read below!!! The non-smoker "dark taupe" interior is very clean, and the leather seats are in nice shape. Door panels, plastics, headliner, and carpets look nice and clean. Power moonroof opens smoothly. Exterior paint is all original, and shines beautifully. All the accentuating exterior plastics are rich looking, and not faded. The entire car is fresh and clean. Mechanically the engine is in great shape, and starts and runs smoothly and powerfully. Needs some transmission work. Brand new brakes and tires just performed. The transmission shifted like clockwork until suddenly she started slipping in 3rd gear. The car is driveable but I just parked it as to not take any chances; it may be a solenoid, as the transmission fluid is clean. Worst case scenario is that there is a website called "car-part.com" which shows many used transmissions that are tested, warrantied and under $600 with low miles, and about $600-700 to install. Also "air bag light for passenger seat" is on, likely the seatbelt. This is a great, 1 owner car worth fixing and I have it at a decent price, as NADA book value is around $8,800. I've just to many projects going on, and don't need the car anymore. The winning bidder should be pleased.
