This is a very rare car. S Code cars are getting harder to come by so don’t miss this opportunity to get a nice S code that has a lot of its original parts. This car was originally Candy Apple Red with the GT package. Beautiful combination. The great thing about this car is that it comes with a 390GT engine, 4 speed toploader transmission, and a Ford 9” rearend. The body on the car is overall solid and complete. The car does have some rust that will need attention. Drivetrain: 390 Engine is setting in the engine bay. 4 Speed Toploader 9” Ford Rear end Body: The body of the car is overall straight and the gaps are good. The car has never been in an accident. The frame rails front and rear are straight. The fender aprons are also nice and straight. No wrinkles or anything. The car does have some typical 67-68 mustang rust. The car will need quarters skins and I assume outer wheelhouses. The quarters were flared at some point in time. The floor pans need replaced. The car needs a battery tray apron, and the rear driver sides apron for sure. The rocker panels and door jamb areas are very solid. The trunk floor pans are also nice and solid. There is some rust where the taillight panel meets the inner trunk channel. Its minor. The rear rail on the passenger sides will need repair. It’s a little flaky under where the leaf spring mounts. The front rails have a little rust behind the bumper bracket. But the car is fairly complete and comes with a full 390 GT drivetrain. Interior: The car does come with some interior pieces. The front and back seats are all there. Some of the rear interior panels are in place. There are some small interior trim pieces that go with the car as well as some of the larger items. The gauges are in place and the car also has an original radio in place. Glass: All of the glass in there and in good condition.
