The Vehicle..........2001 Volvo V40 wagon in green with a beige interior. This wagon is in GOOD CONDITION and RUNS VERY WELL. Features include the 1.9 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, tilt & telescopic steering wheel, delay wipers, am-fm-cd-cassette stereo, alloy wheels, and much more. This is a great running Volvo that was traded on a brand new car. It's Condition..........GOOD! The engine runs smoothly with no skips, noises, or vibrations. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, and all other mechanical systems seem to function properly. The car came to us as part of a package of trade-in cars and has not been safety checked or serviced. The interior is nice. There are no worn, torn, or badly stained areas on the seats, carpets, or headliner. The cloth seats are comfortable and supportive. All other interior panels look great. The headliner is starting to droop in the rear. The body is excellent. There are no big dents, rusted areas, or serious scratches anywhere. There is a visible dent in the hood next to the grille. The paint appears all original and shines beautifully. Driving this V40 is a smooth and stable experience with an economical engine, comfortable interior and great stereo. I drove this car 36 miles over city and suburban roads to get the car to our storage garage. It ran well and did not show any serious flaws. There are no shakes, rattles, or vibrations, and the handling is everything you would expect. I would describe this Volvo as CLEAN, SOLID, and FUEL EFFICIENT! Things you should know..........I try hard to accurately describe all of our cars. Most are trade-ins to local new car dealers. We have not owned or driven these vehicles as daily transportation. The description is the result of a short test drive over varied road surfaces and a visual inspection while the vehicle is parked. We have NOT safety checked or serviced this car. I am not a mechanic and I do not guarantee that my description of problems (if any) is accurate or complete, but I try very hard to be thorough and honest, and my reputation reflects that effort. Please remember that these are used vehicles and you should expect a normal amount of wear for the year and mileage, but any serious known defects would be noted above.
