This is a rare 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW GP finished in Thunder Blue metallic with a black leather and grey cloth interior. The car is in very good condition and has only 44,122 miles on it. This special edition GP Number 0454 out of 2000 produced worldwide. It is believed that only 415 were actually imported into the United States. The GP Edition Minis were the fastest production Minis ever produced. The GP has a revised Eaton Supercharger with a pulley ratio which produces more boost than a stocker. It also has a less restrictive intercooler, recalibrated engine management, high volume injector nozzles and a special exhaust system. The various factory modifications increase the power output to 215 horsepower at 7100 rpm. This car will accelerate to 60 MPH 0.5 seconds quicker than the John Cooper Works Mini Cooper S in less than 5.9 seconds. Top speed is 145 mph. The springs, shocks, and anti-roll-bar are specific to the GP. The 18" wheels are also GP specific and the tires are almost brand new. It has GP special aluminum rear trailing arms that enhance the handling. In testing, the Mini pulled .90g on the skid-pad, a Mini record. The Mini John Cooper Works GP Edition was priced $9,700 above the Mini Cooper S. This car has heated seats and has unique color combination, a very large carbon fibre rear wing, body kit, special graphics, carbon fiber trim. This car also comes from the factory with no rear seat and instead comes with a stiffening brace that reaches the full width of the car. This feature further reduces the weight of the vehicle while adding to its already potent performance. This car has been very well maintained.
