1972 Triumph Daytona

This is a really cool old Triumph 500 Daytona. It had been buried in a dry barn for decades, belonged to a close friend who passed away. It appears to be totally original. just over 11k on the odometer. Take a good close look at the pictures, it's all there. What it needs is a new owner who is familiar with Triumph motorcycles. It's got strong compression, and fat spark. The tank needs to be chemically cleaned and sealed, had been left with old fuel in it and a thorough fuel system freshening. Unfortunately, both spark plugs were seized in the head and have snapped off. The head will been to be removed and have the old plugs reamed out and re-tap the spark plug threads. It's got a brand new battery, original keys and Continental tires are still in amazingly good condition. I'll be glad to assist with shipping of needed. Thanks for looking!
