1972 Olds Vista Cruiser Wagon VERY RARE AND DESIRABLE and getting harder to find this original 6 pass / well optioned / minimal rust / desert survivor Vista wagon Yes it runs and drives and most recently has had about $1500 spent on it making it road worthy after being off the road for about 10 yrs. When we got it we drove it on a 100 mile road trip from Sierra Vista to Tucson and around town with no issues. OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this past year here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence. NOT MANY OF THESE wagons left with original sheetmetal still like this one. UN RESTORED SURVIVOR. Our auctions clearly show the most detail of what to expect Over any other auctions Ive seen online. Buy with confidence !! Although, this wagon has been in Az as far back as we can research, it did get some minor rust on a few spots around the roof and glass (probably due to bad drainage) But still far less then your avg eastcoast wagon of this age. We try to show all the areas well in the 100+ pics below. Mileage shows 132k and thats prob original knowing this cars past history. Arizona cars are time capsules half the time and the best kind to restore. We not only market our cars with some of the best pics on the web, but we also We do all we can to make the process smooth and simple for everyone involved. We dont come across these wagons often here in Tucson, this is the first this nice Ive seen for sale in about 10 yrs. DRIVETRAIN: it is an original 350 V8 4v motor runs and sounds good, with AC (all there but isnt blowing cold anymore, it was last summer) PS , PB too. Trans feels good and the ralley wheels look great and tires are good. Under the hood has had some work done to it in the last few yrs including radiator and more (see pic of invoice near bottom). Nice and original and unmolested the way they should be. Only mod was the dual exhaust recently with some Flowmasters. Even the choke and high idle on the carb work like they are suppose to when cold. INTERIOR: all pretty much original, and showing some age. Original (other then the dr side lap belt) isnt bad for its age, and fun to drive around in just as you see it. Middle seat folds down 90/10 split too. Carpet is old but fine for a daily driver. EXTERIOR: the best we can tell this is all original paint and whats left of the original faux wood vinyl. Youll see in the pics, some trim missing but the car does come with a box of extra trim in the back. I believe there are about 6 extra pieces back there all for this car. Body is very straight and all the panels are believed to be original. Vista cruiser glass looks good, but there are some areas that look like it may be delaminating around the edges. The only rust we could find on the car was up top around some edges of the glass (-prob from drainage) but the bottom of the car , floors, rockers are in great shape. The rust is mild compared to any midwest or eastcoast 40 yr old wagon still left on the roads thats not been restored. SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension thats ready for the road. Goes down the road like its suppose to and handles better thanks to the wider tires on the ralley 442 style rims. These cars also look amazing if you lower them 1-2" too. These wagons are hot items right now and depending on how you want to restore it, this truck is a great starting point for the next owner, esp if you DONT want to spend weeks fixing rust issues.
